OUR STORY
Kings Apparel was established in 1984 by two brothers, Mr. Abdul Aziz Memon and Mr. Muhammad Munir Memon. What started as a modest set up has established itself as a major exporter of knitted garments from Pakistan. We are a core business concern of Kings Group.
We have strong international presence and supply to major clothing brands and buying houses across Europe and the United States. We are known for our quality, innovation, social sustainability & compliance.
Kings Apparel Industry is based in Korangi Industrial Area on 8 acres of land in purpose designed buildings. Manufacturing is totally integrated within this facility and encompasses knitting, dyeing, printing, embroidery, stitching and warehousing.
TIMELINE
KINGS APPAREL HISTORY
1988 - Business started with 20 stitching machines
1990 - Moves into first purpose built stitching unit with knitting floor
1991 - Exceeds $1 Million Export Mark
1993 - Expansion into dyeing is commenced
1995 - Knit-Composite established, with in house knitting, dyeing, stitching
1997 - Received first Export Promotion trophy followed by 5 Best Export & 8 Special Performance in years to come
1999 - First ISO certification received highlighting start of health, safety certifications for years to come
2001 - Pioneer organic cotton growth in Pakistan in fields of lower Sind & Balochistan
2004 - Effluent Treatment Plant with capacity of 150 - 200,000 gallons is established
2006 - A fully funded school is launched in Vinder, Balochistan through The Citizens Foundation
2008 - Production capacity increased to 750,000 mixed garments a month
2014 - In house stitching operator training program
